Thank You!

Thank you so much for joining us at our Ghoulish Goblin Gathering on October 23. We really appreciate your support!

Studies show that supporting a healthy community relies on being an active member in that community. Hopefully we
can all make extra efforts to try to do that in our local areas! We had great volunteers that did so much for us and kept us on time and running smoothly. I have to say thank you again for your efforts, patience and energy! All of our demonstrations were great! We had some great people giving us their all on a beautiful Saturday! We had some fabulous sponsorships and again a HUGE thank-you to all of you! I really appreciate all of you and everything that you did for us! read more

“Comforts and Joy“

It’s that time of year again… we need to fill the window at the Watseka Park District for Christmas and this year our theme is…

“Comforts and Joy“
Last year even in the midst of so much chaos and uncertainty the windows were filled to the brim from our great donors. Last year we asked for anything and everything and it worked well! This year is the same idea, Whatever new items you would like to donate that would make someone have a better holiday is perfect! Toys, blankets, socks, personal hygiene items, diapers, whatever you can think of nothing is too big or too small!

Help us fill the window again this year! We need all of your donations at the park district by November 23 this year so we can coordinate with Toys for Tots for all of their sorting and elfing and such.

We are always so inspired by the dedication that all of you have to helping us reach our goals to help others. We are amazed and touched by your support as donors. You keep us going to help others in our area.

Bring your donations to the Watseka Park District and watch that front window fill up! And most of all thank you for keeping our attention to the fact that helping others helps us all! read more
